About the Event
The Route 62 Rally is an annual gathering of Harley-Davidson enthusiasts who come together for a few days of excitement and camaraderie. The event follows the famous Route 62 through the stunning countryside and friendly towns of the picturesque Karoo, where participants from across the nation converge to celebrate one of the most enduring and successful Harley rallies.
The organising committee has always made the rally an unforgettable experience, ensuring that every detail is meticulously planned to enhance the enjoyment and safety of all attendees.
The atmosphere at the rally is charged with the sound of rolling thunder as bikes parade through the streets. This event has a rich history of bringing together Harley bikers dressed in their iconic denim and leather, adorned with patches and badges. Each year, the rally offers an array of activities including music performances, food stalls, tattoo artists, and Harley-themed games that test skills and entertain.
Every evening, the roar of engines gives way to live rock bands, ensuring the festive spirit continues well into the night. For those seeking relaxation, the local hot springs offer a soothing escape.
The Route 62 Rally also supports charitable causes, contributing to local community services, embodying the spirit of generosity that defines the biking community. This event is not just a rally; it’s a chance to forge lasting friendships and create memories that riders will carry with them long after the last bike has left.
